We apply documented checks at quotation, first-off, in-process and pre-dispatch stages so fabricated metal arrives ready for installation on site.

Specification at quote
Scope is captured against drawing numbers, revision levels, material grades, weld types, coating systems and delivery format. Ambiguity is resolved before material is ordered, because downstream changes on nested plate are expensive for everyone.
Where drawings omit detail, we state assumptions in writing rather than filling gaps silently.
Inspection points
First-off parts confirm bend angles, hole patterns and critical overall dimensions before batch release. Welded frames are checked for squareness, twist and interface dimensions that matter to stair landings, platform legs or guard mounting.
Coated items are inspected for handling damage and touch-up requirements before wrapping.
Materials and traceability
Mill certificates and material traceability can be organised for nominated projects when specified at order. Standard commercial work relies on reputable local supply and grade marking consistent with Australian practice.
Stainless jobs for food and hygiene areas receive handling discipline to reduce carbon contamination and surface marking.
Non-conformance
If a part is outside agreed tolerance, we investigate cause—programming, setup, weld shrinkage or measurement method—before reworking or remaking. You receive a factual description and proposed correction, not a generic apology without action.
Incoming material
Material is checked for grade marking and obvious damage on receipt. Wrong grade or damaged plate is quarantined before it enters cutting programs.
When you supply free-issue material, our quote states handling and risk from that point onward.
