Service scope
City Steel Fabrication provides an integrated metal service for Victoria: profile cutting, sheet metal work, welding, stainless and aluminium fabrication, coating coordination and assembly. Each process is scheduled against your drawing issue, not as disconnected subcontract steps.
The benefit is one accountable workshop. Interfaces between laser profile, brake-formed stiffeners and welded frames are resolved internally before parts reach site.
How to start
Send drawings with material grade, quantity, finish and required date. We respond with scope, exclusions, lead time and any technical comments that affect cost or risk.
For programmes with multiple releases, share the full list so setup can be amortised sensibly across batches.
Materials
Mild steel for structural and general fabrication; stainless for food, hygiene and corrosion zones; aluminium where weight and appearance matter.
Specialist grades or imported plate can be arranged when specified early.
Delivery
Finished items can be supplied loose, in kits, or partially assembled. Metro delivery and pickup from Point Cook are available.
Quality focus
First-off approval, inspection at critical interfaces and packing discipline apply across all services—not only on ‘premium’ jobs.
Documentation is quoted when you need formal release records.
