Custom hood sets sized to equipment layouts in a metro commercial kitchen fit-out.


Challenge
Hood widths had to clear existing services and meet exhaust fan positions with only millimetres of clearance. Hygiene inspection required smooth internal corners and accessible grease trays.
Approach
We templated critical widths from site measurements, fabricated hood shells in stainless 304 with rolled corners, and supplied integrated grease trays with drain orientation marked.
Outcome
Hoods passed inspection first visit. Install team reported no on-site trimming. Repeat hood for a second line used stored programs with revised width only.
Delivery
Drawings were issued for fabrication with hold points on survey-critical interfaces. Components were packed in stillages with restraints suited to metro delivery. Early alignment on survey, coating turnaround and install access kept the programme stable for follow-on work.
