Terms of Service
These terms apply to goods and services supplied by CITY STEEL FABRICATION PTY LTD (we/us) to business customers (you). By placing an order you accept these terms unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Quotations
Quotes are valid for the period stated and based on drawings and information supplied by you. Changes to scope, quantities or specifications may require re-quoting.
Orders and payment
Orders are confirmed in writing. Payment terms, deposits and credit limits are as agreed on the quote or account application. Title passes on full payment unless otherwise agreed. We may suspend work for overdue accounts.
Drawings and specifications
You are responsible for the accuracy of drawings and specifications you provide. Manufacture is to issued-for-fabrication documents unless we expressly agree to design responsibility in writing.
Lead times
Lead times are estimates based on known conditions. Delays caused by drawing changes, material supply, coating partners or events outside reasonable control may extend delivery without liability for consequential loss.
Inspection and claims
Inspect goods on receipt and notify us in writing of apparent defects within five business days. Hidden defects must be notified promptly after discovery.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to repair, replacement or refund of the price for defective goods. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Intellectual property
Drawings and models you provide remain your property. We use them only to perform the ordered work and retain copies as needed for production, warranty and repeat orders unless you instruct otherwise in writing.
Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled or reduced only by mutual agreement. Costs for material already ordered, programming completed or work in progress will be charged as set out on the quote or order acknowledgment.
Governing law
Victorian law applies. Disputes should first be raised with us in good faith at connect@citysteelfabrication.com.au.
