Lightweight covers and service doors for OEM machinery.
Challenge
OEM needed lightweight covers with consistent anodised appearance across a family of machines with different depths.
Approach
We standardised corner extrusion interfaces and varied only laser-cut pan lengths. Anodising batch kept parts in sets to colour-match panels per machine.
Outcome
Covers dropped onto mounts without adjustment. Customer ordered two additional machine sizes using the same platform approach.
Delivery
Drawings were issued for fabrication with hold points on survey-critical interfaces. Components were packed in stillages with restraints suited to metro delivery. Early alignment on survey, coating turnaround and install access kept the programme stable for follow-on work.
